The owner of the donor mare is required to complete a mare application form. Following the approval of this application, a designated representative will initiate contact to discuss embryo pricing, insurance coverage, as well as the respective responsibilities.
Upon reaching a mutual agreement, the donor mare will be registered within our database, allowing prospective embryo owners to review her profile. Upon selection of the donor mare by an embryo owner, we will coordinate a reproductive screening, conclude contractual agreements, and initiate the follicle aspiration process.
The donor mare will undergo a reproductive ultrasound to determine her current stage within the estrous cycle. Following this assessment, she will be examined by a specialized reproductive veterinarian capable of conducting a transvaginal aspiration (TVA). Upon completion of this procedure, both the donor mare and her respective owner will have fulfilled their obligations and will receive the agreed-upon compensation. *Procedure will not restrict donor mare’s activities.
Requirements:
The donor mare must be registered, and the registration papers must be under the ownership of the donor mare’s owner.
The donor mare must be in sound reproductive health, free from any diseases, and maintain care with a primary equine veterinarian.
